A report after the festival

The three days of the May Day Bank Holiday weekend 2009 saw a 'Celebration of Village Life' in Cudham, with all the organisations in the Village coming together to mount a Flower Festival in the church, along with other activities. Plants were sold, teas were available in a marquee in the churchyard, there were sporting activities on the recreation ground, and there was a small exhibition of local history. On the Saturday evening a Quiz Night in the Parish Hall attracted record numbers of participants and a special Family Worship service on the Sunday morning had as its theme 'I am the vine you are the branches'.
