A service to remember and give thanks
for loved ones who have died
Sunday 28th October 2018 at 4.00pm at Cudham Parish Church,
St Peter and St Paul, Church Approach, Cudham, TN14 7QF

Every year we hold a service to give an opportunity for people to remember and give thanks to God for loved ones who have died, and whose funeral service was conducted through the ministry of our two parishes, even if the service was not held in church.

This service takes the form of a selection of hymns, prayers and readings. As well as remembering loved ones who have died, we also reflect on the promises of the Christian faith of resurrection and eternal life.

During the service we name out loud those who have died, if a relative or friend has indicated that they would like this. There is then an opportunity to light a candle and remember loved ones during a time of silence.

The focus of the service will be to celebrate the lives of those who have died and to pray for those who have been bereaved.  People who have attended in past years have found it to be a very moving service.

If there is anyone who has died whom you would like us to remember by name, please contact our Parish Office on 01959 571515 and leave a message with your contact details and we will return your call, or alternatively email us via office@pcd.org.uk with your details.
