Messy Church

On Wednesday 24th October 2018, a great time was had by the 31 children and their parents/carers who attended Half Term Messy Church at Cudham Church!  The theme was "Jesus our Friend" and crafts included making friendship bracelets, Jesus fish friendship mobiles, friendship prayer boxes, hands of friendship craft, ICTHUS fish chenille stick and bead craft and wax resist rainbow friendship hearts!  Afterwards, the Rev. John Musson gave a short talk on the Bible story of Jesus and Zacchaeus.  We watched a cartoon version of Zacchaeus becoming a friend of Jesus, and sang songs about how Jesus loves us whilst learning some sign language!  This was followed by a wonderful buffet lunch.  Thank you to all those that helped and donated food.

Do join us at the next Messy Church during the Christmas holidays at Downe village hall on Friday 4th January 2019 from 10am to 12.30pm including a light buffet lunch.  Children, come along and have great fun getting messy!  Enjoy free art and craft activities on the theme of Epiphany: the visit of the three kings.

Don't forget to bring an adult or carer; they have to have fun too!
